(주)이안기술은 2019년 11월 아프리카에서 먹는 물 사업에 진출하기로 하였다. 아프리카 대부분의 나라는 상수도 망이 제대로 설치되어 있지 않아 인구의 1/3 이상이 안전하고 깨끗한 물을 공급 받지 못한다. 건기 때에는 학교와 병원의 물탱크는 비어 있다. 이안기술은 1일 50톤 규모의   427개 지하수를 개발하여 하이브리드 태양광발전으로 운영하는 것을 1차 목표로 설정하고 있다. ​ IIAN TECH decided to enter the drinking water business in Africa in November 2019.
